Every style is built to order, so a Heart or a Dragon works just as well at 24 tiles as at 216. These are drawn at 72, the standard game.

How a game works

Match two free tiles
A tile is free when nothing sits on top of it and its left or right side is open. Two free tiles showing the same picture come off the board together.
Read what the pair opens
Each match tells you the story behind that tile. Stories you have not seen before are saved to your collection, so the next game deals you new ones first.
Where the stories come from
Every story starts as research with sources attached. It then goes to separate checkers whose instruction is to refute it: each one keeps, corrects or cuts it, a correction has to be confirmed by a different checker, and anything that cannot be confirmed is dropped. Research and checking are done by AI agents working to a written standard, and a program applies their verdicts, so nothing reaches a tile because someone liked the sound of it.
